What it Does
Burst and replace 4-inch through 54-inch diameter water, sewer, gas and electrical lines. Failing pipe can be replaced with same size or larger diameter pipes.

How it Works
A constant-tension Grundowinch guides the tool through failing pipe. The Grundocrack percussive action bursts the existing pipe. An expander displaces remaining fragments into the surrounding soil. New product pipe is simultaneously pulled in behind the Grundocrack bursting tool.

Models

Twenty-one Grundocrack models, including 6 straight-barrel auto-reverse tools, from 5-inch (127-mm) through 32-inch (609-mm) diameter, are available.

Each tool is effective in bursting a wide range of pipe diameters through the use of a variety of expanders. For replacing lateral connections, there's a Grundocrack tool designed to be launched from the confined space of a manhole.
